The activities of MOMPOR and SOREFAME underwent a restructuring action that resulted in the SMM foundation.
1990
SENETE Group was formed by the incorporation of MAGUE, SOREFAME, SEPSA and SMM. Subsequently, ABB Group acquired 40% of the capital of these companies.
1994
ABB Group becomes SMM major shareholder.
1997
ABB Group acquires the totality of SMM shares, becoming the only shareholder. Subsequently, the company is restructured according to the ABB organizational structure, and MAGUE, SEPSA and SOREFAME contribute to the formation of a wide, multidisciplinary team.
2000
The company MAGUE – Equipamentos de Movimentação, SA, is incorporated in SMM with its assets, rights and liabilities.
2007
ABB Group decides to alienate all non-core business, which included SMM. As a consequence, the company is subject to a management buy-out operation.
